Ms. Maddie Sheng from Middletown High School is the recipient of the 2018 Club Scholarship. Maddie earned a 4.3667 weighted GPA and ranks 73/297 in her class. Maddie will be attending Coastal Carolina University this fall and will major in marine science.She chose this field because of her deep interest in the world's oceans. She wants to use her degree to teach others about the importance of the marine life. Maddie also want to use ocean resources to develop new products and medicines.
In her spare time Maddie enjoys shooting, fishing, camping and kayaking. She has served as a volunteer at Catoctin Wildlife Preserve and Zoo.
